A1Savannah Sensation - Retired Savannah Queen This page is about Sensation a retired Savannah Queen, Savannah to Savannah breeding and registered as a black smoke who has an amazing temperament, she just loves to cuddle. Please scroll down to view pedigree and photos of sensation. Sensation came over to Purebliss from America in full call. Unfortunately before Sensation could get pregnant she had a pyo, these are no fault of the breeder, its one of those things that can happen occasionally particularly in hybrids. Our thanks to Alistair our vet because his expertise got her through in excellent health and she was able to become pregnant. Sensation gave birth to a wonderful healthy Savannah female kitten but then the second problem hit Sensation. Sensation had a kitten inside but seemed unable to give birth to it. We contacted Michael, an amazing veterinary surgeon who took Sensation straight in for a Caesarian Section. Michael found a kitten lodged at the top of Sensations uterus without a chance of being born naturally. Unfortunately, although we fought hard to keep this kitten alive it wasn't to be. We asked Michael to neuter Sensation there and then as we felt she had been through enough already. Sensation was not herself at this point and didn't want anything to do with her kitten, she had no patience at all. So we continued to hand feed her Savannah baby until we could place her with a bengal queen. Paul and Floss were coming over to see us - they had adopted Purebliss Honeycomb from us as a retired bengal queen to keep Fred a bengal male company. We couldn't resist telling Paul and Floss all about Sensation, we knew they loved their bengals and wondered how they felt about Savannahs. We were thrilled when not long after they went home we had a phone call asking if Sensation would fit into their life.
During Sensation's second week here, our 3 year old grandson decided to play fetch with her, despite us saying she wouldn't want to. All of a sudden sure enough the two of them were playing fetch with a toy mouse. The picture shows Sensation putting the mouse onto his back for him to throw yet again.
I've also included a photo of Sensation learning some computer skills from our youngest daughter.
